Financial Assistance
National Musicamp Association is a non-profit making organisation which raises its own funds and is occasionally sponsored by donor agencies, commercial organisations or individuals. The Executive Committee of Musicamp raises funds primarily in order to be able to offer subsidies or scholarships to deserving individuals. Applications for financial subsidy should be attached to the application form.

Accommodation
Musicamp is fully residential and the course fee (details available on request) includes accommodation and food. All musicampers are expected to reside at Musicamp and to take part in the activities throughout the week.

Please note that Musicamp takes NO responsibility for arranging accommodation before or after the duration of Musicamp. However, should non-locals require assistance with accommodation, they should give details to the Chairperson in good time to make the necessary arrangements.

Concerts
Musicamp traditionally holds 2 concerts during the week. On the last Friday, the "Groups Concert" showcases performers from all the chamber groups, etc. This concert is usually held at Musicamp.

The grand finale of Musicamp is the "Final Concert" which will be held in Harare at the end of Musicamp. All orchestras and choir work is featured under the batons of the conductors.

Transport
Transport will be arranged for Musicampers from Harare to Musicamp and back on the last day. There is a nominal charge made for this return trip.

Applicants requirements
Each camper is required to bring the following
a) pillow case, towel and either sleeping bag or sheets.
b) suitably smart clothes for the final concerts.
c) a music stand clearly marked with your name
d) your instrument and relevant spares
e) a pencil
f) sporting gear, as you wish.

Punctuality
As noted before, all Musicampers are expected to be present at Camp for the full period. However, if this is impossible, exceptions can be made provided that the Chairman is given full details of absences and agrees to same.

Lights out and quiet
All younger campers are required to be in bed with lights out by 9:30 pm. All campers are asked to respect the needs of others for quiet and sleep and it is expected that there will not be any noise near the dormitaries after 9:30pm.

Bar and Tuckshop
The Committee and other volunteers run a fully stocked bar and tuckshop for the duration of camp. There is a rule of NO ALCOHOL in the dormitaries.

Further information
In the past, all Musicampers have been subsidised to some extent or another but in recent years spiralling costs have made this impossible. Wherever possible the committee provides subsidies or scholarships to deserving players. It also often needs to sponsor key instrumentalists to make up numbers in the different sections of the orchestra.

The organisation is in acute need of donations, no matter how small, to enable it to keep up its good work Please contact Musicampzim@yahoo.com if you are able to assist in any way.
