WHAT THE CRITICS SAY......
"Sparkling....scintillating ..a glittering occassion! Performance from the
singers and dancers was excellent & full of vitality . Highlights were
Cherith Keen's wonderful voice (Pocohontas), Sheila Pickering's exquisite
phrasing, Irene van Niekerks's lyrical purity, Desmond Chirikeni's energy
& bounce as "Tigger." Costumes & decor were superb, slick & professional"
SUSAN HAINS Independent 15 June

"Superb family entertainment.! The first half of the show won constant
applause from a packed opening audience, climaxing in an outstanding
production of "The Jungle Book Groove". If the shows narrator, Mickey Mouse (Miriam Hamblin), a young girl, had delivery that was so fast it
would have done Henry Olonga credit, she finally won over the audience
who couldn't at first believe she could keep it up!
I enjoyed the cameo performance of very young Timothy Lewis as Pinocchio.
The second half is devoted to more modern films such as Little Mermaid,
Alladin, The Lion King and others ....the outstanding number proves to be
the treatment of "Hercules" with Debbie Wratten's dancers coming into
their own, with a black dancer displaying his biceps, the singing from the
team of Cherith Keen, Desmond Chirikeni, Irene van Niekerk, Moffat
Langeveldt, Sheila Pickering and Chirisa being excellent throughout."
