KING BEE Blues Band
King Bee is a 3 piece blues band featuring Andy Milburn on lead guitar,
vocals, slide guitar & blues harp, with Sid Rogers on Bass & Neville
Mannington on Rhythm Guitar.
They set out to create an authentic & original blues sound with a
direct
emotional appeal and after some months working on their material, have
been
performing successfully to a very wide variety of audiences for almost
a
year.
From the start they established some basic ground rules. Keep it
simple and dont play too loud. People should be able to talk without
shouting into each others ears. The arrangements are tight, but
with that
loose, improvised feel which lies at the heart of all true blues music.
Variety is essential, blues songs dont have to all sound the same
and
always the vocals, the words, a direct appeal to the heart.
