Here in Porta we are not squatters because our place have been registered. And the mean of word (squatter) mean people without good place to live. So now in Porta we don't want to be called squatters because we have some perments from the government. Our community have now developed in different places. Such as school, health works and many organisation. Now we are running out of this bad name and we want be called Porta.

When I have HIV/AIDS I think that I am not a person from other. I will be taking myself like anyone who looking for dieing. When I have HIV/AIDS I will kill myself because I will suffer for a long time so that I think it is better to kill myself beside that. I am going to join other organisations like people infected with HIV. I think that when I meet other who have HIV like I would be sharing our idea to known what can I do about our life and I decide to teach other people who are grown to tell how if you are HIV, which are problems facing you? And I will be patient to everyone who my relative. The life become difficult because most of thetime I spend thinking about my life.

My name is Sign Kazembe. I am 17yrs old now. I'm a guy my tribe is Zezuru. In colour I'm brown. I'm about less than 2 metres height and rounded face. My eyes is not exactly good rounded. I always want short hare and nails. Most of the time I enjoy a lot of things such a watching football and going to church especially Tuesday and Friday.
In our Family we are eight, four boys and four girls. Our parents are still together but my father he don't lived here he lives at Harare. When I finish my form I want to do course of engineering, I like this course mostly because I know this can be my occupation in all of my life until god gives me other occupation which is apart form this one. In all my life my best want is education so I am seeing it now since I begun my secondary level its now hard for school fees.

When I grow up I would like to be an artist so that I would not end to learn. My brains will be leant much things and I would teach other people through my knowledge. I would like to teach many countries and I would like to know some of the things I do not know. I would like to move from place to place, when I saw that they are doing bad things I would teach them about good things and to draw pictures which have a meaning with what they do.

I would look for a person who can look after me and if I will go to school, I would work hard so that I would have flying colours on my "O" level and I would went to look for a job were the artist are needed because I would like to be an artist when I grow up.

Farm Worker

I am a farm worker for almost six years but I benefit nothing for that, I earn little salary but I worked some very hard jobs those are not equal for my salary which I earn. I always try by all means to be in a good life and work but until now I will never get that. Here are some of the problems which I face. Working time: I start working in the morning up to 4 am in the fields then I will make a break at 5 pm then in midnight I will going to the fields again to fill and change the irrigation pipes then I will remain there for the rest of the night. I decided to leave the job last year but I will never do that because I know if I leave the job in our family, I am the first born so I was working for my family because my father will passed away we can only live with my mother only. I am now sick and tired but there is no way which I could take.
White Person

If I had a white person I need to be friendship with majority people, because I need to work together all things that I need to do. For my all black friends I need to know about their life histories and I need to know about my life history. I need to go in oversea in order to know the life history of some different people about what the ways of living, what about their culture. I just need to help some poorer people when I have some money. That's my ides if I were a white person. I need to marry only one wife and have only one child.

I don't have any guardian except my old grandmother who is now not able to see or even to walk. I am an orphan whom fight for itself: food, shelter and other personal natures needed in life. I have to go to fields and work for food , clothes and many more things. I am nearly dies of headache (thinking of my troubles). It seems as I am the one against everything because my life is just like extremely difficult to explain how bad it is. Please back me up to live. Don't curse me guy I am same like you: I breath, I eat and I do whatever you do. But the matter is that I am very shy to do whatever because of a number of unknown perposes/reasons. For instant how can I act without the weapon needed to do this(know how). I also hanve efforts to go to school but no fees; no school so settle down is far much better than everything. Please help me before I kill myself because of these enormous trouble/problem.
